Our party of 8 stayed here for a week and loved every minute of it. We were 4 kids and 4 adults. There was ample space for everyone. We alternated days of lying around by the pool and driving around to various towns, markets, and sights. My kids loved playing in the mountain stream that runs by the house. We also played a lot of table tennis. In the evening we would top off the day by cooking together and eating in the beautiful, rustic dining room with the doors open into the garden. A few notes: Make sure you have Jonathan's cell phone number and the GPS coordinates prior to your arrival - it's a bit tricky to find. We were in a large rental van and the mountain roads are windy and sometimes only wide enough for one vehicle. The nearest village is about a 30 minute hike uphill. It is a lovely place to explore with a couple of good restaurants - try the pizza at the campground! Stock up on groceries in Lucca on your way. Jonathan was super helpful and welcoming - he can answer all your questions and was available by phone whenever we needed anything. We all agreed that this was our favorite part of our 3 weeks in Italy.
